News from Anaxsys Technology

September 2009

Anaxsys Technology Ltd have been awarded funding up to £99909 for Phase one of the SBRI East 2009 Innovation Competition.

August 2009

Anaxsys Technology is pleased to announce that it has completed the first closing of its current funding round raising £1.25m. This is £0.15m in excess of the minimum amount required to close the round. There is a second closing date of 31 October. The target is to raise a further £0.5m on the same terms as the first closing. The purpose of the extra funds is to provide head room for our business plan and provide resource for the development of our second product.

Dr Deryk Williams stated “we are extremely pleased that we have completed the first phase of our funding round. We welcome our new investors from the London Business Angels and the OION angel networks. These funds will allow us to develop our lead product, the Respiratory Rate Monitor, conduct clinical trials and apply for CE mark in Europe. We are confident that our leading edge technology will give us a significant advantage in the respiratory market since our respiratory products measure breath directly, continuously and require only tidal breathing.” For further information please contact Dr Deryk Williams, deryk@anaxsys.co.uk.
